Frequently Asked Questions

Firstly, after claiming a plot and purchasing your initial kitchen items, you must buy raw food items from your storage counter and then place them on the corresponding cooking processor (ie. raw boerie rolls go on the braai).

After spawning into the game, direct your character towards any of the available plots and walk through the entry point of the plot - a directional arrow will guide you to the location of the entry point. Once your character has walked through the entry point, a popup will appear and you will be given the option to click a button in order to create your business.

There is no pause function in the game, however you can take a break from the operations of your business at any time. When you stop cooking, any raw items purchased will stay in your inventory and your customers will wait for you until you wish to continue actively running your restaurant business again.

Your friends cannot help you with running your restaurant or cooking food. That said, they can compete with you to become the ultimate takeaway boss by opening their own restaurant business and striving to achieve the different badges in the game such as the Chow Town Champ badge which can be won when you serve 200 customers.

The game does not have a specific endpoint. New hungry customers will always want some food from your delicious restaurant. You can consider buying all items and being able to serve all the food types as a win.

At present, the game cannot be reset. If you run out of money, you can claim the bankruptcy chest found at the front of your restaurant.

You can empty your inventory at the bins located on your plot.

When you run out of money, a bankruptcy chest will appear close to the entrance of your restaurant and arrows will direct you to it. Claiming this will give you enough cash to start selling again.

The flooring is a decoration item that you can purchase once you earn enough money to unlock the purchase button located in front of the restaurant.

No. You need to be actively playing with a claimed plot for your kitchen to operate.
